There are statistics that show that more and more people are taking advantage of TurboTax’s mobile tax filing system.

Per VentureBeat by Sensor Tower, TurboTax made $560,000 in just one day during February,and this was just at the beginning of the tax season. Sensor Tower specializes in providing information about mobile app store data.

The money made with this app has continued to increase over the last three years.  If the amount continues to go up, daily revenue could be in the millions by the  April deadline.

On the flip side, H&R Block isn’t seeing that much in revenues, per Sensor Tower.  When a representative from H&R was asked about this data, he answered by saying that H&R does not report its revenue data.  He also claimed that Sensor Tower’s information was wrong. TurboTax did not comment about this data.

When it comes to customer satisfaction, TurboTax has received high ratings over all mobile devices.  H&R Block’s ratings are not as high.  Also, TurboTax has been reviewed more times.

TurboTax has decided to go mobile first, and this is helping them to gain more revenues.  The mobile tax filing app is free to download for both TurboTax and H&R Block.
